The Winston-Salem Children's Chorus is an outgrowth of the Stevens Center Children's Chorus which was founded in 1993. Under the direction of Barbara C. Beattie, the group made its debut under the name "Winston-Salem Children's Chorus" in 1997, delighting audiences with its performances. Upcoming concerts promise to be wonderful events for our community and the young singers who participate, while concert tours will introduce the state and nation to our area's talented young singers.
Our Members
Girls and boys, ages 8 to 18, from Winston-Salem and the surrounding communities are selected by audition. There is a place for beginners as well as experienced singers. For all of our members, high standards of excellence, discipline, and responsibility are encouraged and maintained within a positive learning environment.
